Firefighters Wanted

�Retained (part-time) Firefighters needed at Oxted Fire Station.�

Have you ever thought of supporting your local community by becoming a Retained (part-time) Firefighter? Oxted Fire Station is now looking to recruit men or women who feel they could commit some of their time to their community during day or night to be trained Firefighters, crewing both the fire appliances at Oxted Fire Station.

You do not need particular formal qualifications, just a good standard of general education. There are no height restrictions but you do need to be physically fit and have good eyesight. You will need to be at least 18 years old and live or work within four minutes of Oxted Fire Station (on Westerham Road opposite Snatts Hill). In return, you will be fully trained, provided with free uniform and payment for fire calls attended.
